Helpful Information The average refillable color cartridge holds about 12 cc. Therefore 1 - 4 oz. bottle yields about 10 cartridge refills. 1 US Fluid oz. = 29.57 cc. 1 - 4 oz bottle = 118.29 cc. |

Fact: When you purchase one, 4 oz. bottle of ink, it is
approximately the equivalent of 10 cartridges of usable ink. There are
a few exceptions to this rule, such as the 980, which uses larger
cartridges. Fact: A CISS, continuous ink system uses much less ink than an ink cartridge. Every time you place a new cartridge into the printer, the printer automatically goes through a high powered cleaning cycle that reprimes the print head for the new cartridge, wasting about 10% of the cartridge into the waste sponge in the bottom of the printer. Fact: When your printer tells you that the cartridge is empty, you actually still have about 35% of the ink still remaining in the cartridge. The sponge will not release the remainder. Not so with the CISS, continuous ink system. Fact: The cost of printing with a CISS, continuous ink system will allow you to print for about 1/10 the cost of cartridges. Did you KNOW!!! 4 oz. of ink is the equivalent to 10 cartridges with the average Desk top printer. Our inks are $10.00 per 4 oz. bottle. The average Canon cartridge is $12.00 $12.00 x 10 cartridges = $120.00 Buy our Epson or Canon bulk inks and it will only cost you $10.00 You do the math and tell me where the bargain is??? The purpose for the CISS, continuous ink system. The Epson and Canon Printer CISS, ink delivery systems or continuous ink system are designed for the specific purpose of supplying the demands of those individuals or companies that are looking to print their projects using standard dye based ink, transfer ink, archival pigment ink or the use of the most recently developed Ultrachrome and Durabrite ink. This is all accomplished using a CISS, continuous ink system that bypasses the use of cartridges, to a CISS, continuous ink system. By doing so, the need for expensive cartridge replacement is eliminated, reducing down time, enabling you to do more important things. The cost of purchasing ink in bulk, in conjunction with the CISS, continuous ink system also reduces the overall cost of printing as much as 10 fold. The non-chip Epson printers come with manual resets, so that whenever the printer's utility indicates that the ink cartridge is empty, you simply lift the reset foam blocks, thus indicating the printer's utility to show a full ink cartridge again. With the newer style Epson printers using Micro chips on the cartridges, the CISS, continuous ink system comes with specially designed micro chips on the ink cartridge that reset the ink to "full" each time the printer is turned off and then back on. The complete CISS, continuous ink system comes designed with specialty CISS, ink cartridges that utilize micro surgical connectors adapted to ultra fine, surgical, highly flexible tubing. The surgical tubing is routed across the top of the Epson printer and then is connected to a set of four ounce Nalgene Bottles. The Nalgene bottles are held together in a tray. A priming kit is included with your system, as well as an instructional CD Rom disc.. These CISS, continuous ink systems are not difficult to install using the provided instructions. Average installation time ranges from 10-30 minutes. We carry a complete line of different types of OEM compatible inks and all of our inks are manufactured in the USA. We carry a full line of Epson 3000, 4000, 7000, 7500, 7600 and 9600 and Mutoh Mimaki and Roland printer oversized refillable eight ounce cartridges. For those pesky Epson desktop printers that suffer the old plugged print head malady, I have a very effective cleaning solvent that will open the print head nozzles and allow them to give you a clean print head test. |
